Vaultneur is a Legacy Binder for the documents you can't afford to lose: IDs, medical records, wills, bank details. Everything is encrypted on your phone before it goes anywhere, so nothing ever leaves unlocked.
Every document is encrypted on your device before it reaches our servers. We can't read what you store, and neither can anyone who breaks in.
Point your camera at a document and the app crops, straightens and reads it, all on your phone. You can also import straight from Files or Photos.
Each file gets its own data key, which wraps it with AES-256-GCM before anything uploads. Your master key is derived from your passphrase and never leaves the phone. It lives in the device's secure storage.
Everything is filed by category and opens with Face ID. You decide what each family member can see. Lose the phone and your passphrase brings the binder back on a new one, and you're the only person who has it.
Vaultneur runs entirely on your phone. Encryption happens on-device, your data is unreadable in transit and at rest, and we hold no keys that can decrypt it.
Each file is encrypted with its own AES-256-GCM data-encryption key (DEK). That DEK is then wrapped by your master key, which is generated and stored only on your device.
Unlock with Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint. Your passphrase derives the master key locally, and that key never leaves your phone.
Your master key is derived from your passphrase using PBKDF2 with a high iteration count. Only you can recreate it, and only on a device where the passphrase has been entered.
When you share with family, keys are delivered encrypted to their device. Vaultneur staff cannot read your content. Ever.
Camera with on-device auto-crop, OCR & multi-page capture. Or import from Files and Photos. Originals never leave unencrypted.
Health, ID, financial and legal records go into typed forms rather than loose files. Renewal and expiry reminders come as standard.
Mark up, sign, and send signed PDFs straight from your Legacy Binder. Signatures are cryptographically bound to the file.
Face ID, Touch ID and fingerprint unlock. There's no password to leak and no recovery email for anyone to phish.
One scannable card carrying what responders need, readable even when your phone is locked or offline.
Share selected items with members or view-only guests. Zero-knowledge key delivery, revoke any time.
Reinstall the app, enter your passphrase, and your Legacy Binder comes back, even on a brand-new phone. That passphrase is the only key there is.
Vaultneur prints a hardened QR card and pins a copy to your lock screen. First responders scan once and see what they need (allergies, conditions, ICE contacts) without ever unlocking your phone.
Invite family, set their access per category, and revoke at any time. Children get view-only access until they're old enough. Trusted guests like doctors or lawyers get scoped invites that expire.
Read & add documents in shared categories. Each member holds their own keys.
Read selected items. Can't export, share or modify. Ideal for kids and elderly parents.
All billing runs through Apple and Google in-app purchase. Nothing is charged from this website.

The questions we hear most. The full security paper goes deeper.
Security paperHolding keys on a server, even briefly, is the biggest risk in a vault product. Moving to phones means your master key is derived and held only on your own device. We can't read your data for the simple reason that we don't have a key that would decrypt it.
Each file gets a unique AES-256-GCM data-encryption key (DEK), generated on your phone. The DEK is wrapped by your master key, which is derived from your passphrase using PBKDF2 with a high iteration count. The wrapped master key is stored in your phone's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Only the encrypted blob ever leaves your phone.
IDs, passports, medical records, vaccination history, insurance, wills, contracts, deeds, financial statements, vehicle docs, photos of important papers: anything you'd put in a safe. Records are structured by category with form fields, while documents are scanned or imported files.
No. Filenames are anonymised, all content is end-to-end encrypted, and we don't hold any key that could decrypt it. Staff see encrypted blobs and account metadata, nothing more.
Reinstall on a new device, sign in, and enter your passphrase to restore your Legacy Binder. If you forget your passphrase, nobody can recover your vault. Not us, not anyone. That is the trade-off of true zero-knowledge encryption: no one else holds a key to your data. Treat your passphrase the way you'd treat the deed to a house. Memorise it, keep a written copy somewhere safe, and never type it into a website.
Free, Legacy Binder and Family Vault plans are all in-app purchases through the App Store and Google Play. There are no card forms on this website. Manage subscriptions from your phone's subscription settings.
You decide what's on it. Public fields (name, allergies, ICE contacts) are readable by any camera; sensitive fields are gated to first responders via a one-time scan flow.
Free to start. 5 documents and 5 records, no card. The vault opens with your face.
